Soft lights stream from your eyes, with reflections off your last glass of wine Steam rises over the streets, it would not stop raining so we stopped for the night As the storm breaks out and new york takes a battering, we'll sit it out In a city scene from the movie's eyes The reflections screen is directing away from his life Silent, we stare into space, too drunk to have something to say I guess it's all over (tonight and forever) I suggest half in jest, half complaint Then you curse my name and storm off from the table out into the rain Of a city seen from the movie's eyes The reflection screen is directing away from life As the eyes glaze over I pick up my camera and smash it down onto the floor I will not look from these blue screen eyes anymore

Tether 03:42
So you thought that my world would abide when you poisoned my mind it was a valiant try I bet it steadied your ground when you suddenly found your sirens don't make sounds Reach out for the fight tight rope warning light you're at the end of my tether Have your plastic pawns been played At the mercy of your reins? Bad blood will end in vain

Glow 03:37
It's gone silver today like you've finally polished your infinite shades of grey Don't look to close as the varnish corrodes if you come too close all my chapters will unfold And you're afraid i won't like what i'm told Maybe so but you know in my peripheral, We all glow You laughed for the first time without holding on to the railings attached To the staircase of why Don't look to close as the varnish corrodes If you come too close all my chapters will unfold And you're afraid i won't like what i'm shown Maybe so but you know in my peripheral We all glow Don't look to close as the coffee gets cold If you come too close all your doubts will take hold And you're convinced you'll have died when i'm grown Maybe so but you won't hinder my whims or flow We all Glow

The approach of dusk and the light is dimming, Fuel is scarce and thought is out I took a chance and ran from the beginning, But I got caught and I blacked out The rebel’s crushed now nothing is breathing Time is dead, I’m burning out Known survival extinct the leaders are winning The devil’s free and running wild And I have no idea what to do, I know no way through Now all my deepest fears are coming true and no one’s here to cling to An end an energy crisis, a fossil fuelled by hopelessness So I struggle to stand, but I can’t……. And I have no idea what to do, I know no way through And all my deepest fears are coming true and no-one’s here to cling to And all my deepest fears are coming true and no-one’s here to cling to

Spiral 04:30
When you fall, hands gasping through the air, into the dark You might call from the mouth of a cave you made, call out to me But I found it fruitless to catch you and float you back up, It's not gonna work at all, not gonna work, Why keep that shell around your heartless soul Try to spiral into a deeper light No more curling up into the comfort of despair When you fall, hands reigning over brain again into the dark I find it fruitless to catch you, and float you back up Why keep yourself inside that heartless shell Try to spiral into a deeper light No more curling up into the comfort of despair

Frankenstein 03:32
I hear they're wanting me dead i am the monster she bred I am the the work of frankenkstein the cretinous creep years down the line I'm the wanted add for your neighbours The lucifer of her labours But she don't know me from Adam The fallen angels destruction The food force-fed and the napkin head, A mix up in the hospital bed? she's the scapegoat for my sheepish ways Follow me til judgement day You'll never get the cruel to be kind i swore i'd never pay her back in kind This is admission to avoid my mind My Frankenstein I used to open up so wide Now I see the Jackal and hide I'll drag you in and poison your mind Frankensteiin I'm private property now Trespassers will be shot down Or I will give birth to Frankensteiin Another mother's flawed design
7.
Lying Awake 03:41
And as the gaps grow shorter between the times When i think you’re the one for the rest of my life And as the days grow longer with you in my mind, i know that it's too late, that you've left me behind I dreamt through you at the end, I could not open up my eyes Sleep frames of the sea, failing flailing waves, calling out to you, But you’re lying awake The memories distorted, but so was I, The pictures all so perfect, wanna live inside Now I know what it’s like without you- black and white Need your honest eyes to look through- to see it right Don’t let me see you as you were before, you’ll leave me screaming forever, for more

Day Boat God 04:11
Day Boat God swimmin on in an uninviting sea I know your flow don't roll to me so Day Boat God challenging every element that you meet wouldn't you consider once the weather gets better coming up the shore to collect me I'm barely floating on the sand I've really drifting from the plan I'd really love to be your man My day boat god couldn't you ride against the tide to me Control your flow to float with me wouldn't you consider once the weather gets better coming up the shore to collect me yeah and direct me yeah, and if I slide to the unsure you'll correct me I'm barely floating on the sand I've really drifting from the plan So send your lifeboat to my island coming up the shore to collect me and direct me If i slide to the unsure you'll collect me
